Presidents cup horse racing action is on this Sunday at the Rising Sun Turf Club and already horse racing fans are looking forward to the Vera’s Finally, Just Call Me Boss rematch. But Prince she is not, Golden Blue Echo and Lady Budapest can create an upset on the lightning fast track. Vera’s Final recently won the 11th edition of the Guyana Cup and the recently imported horse has taken the local race track by storm with her blistering speed.
The co-feature of Sunday is a must-see event and will bring together, Release the Beast, Storm Bird, Honey Flow, Red Rocket, Fire In Line among others. That race is an open one but with the recent form of Release the Beast, the Jumbo Jet Stable is hoping for a repeat of the Guyana Cup from the Beast.
Over 6 million dollars in cash and prizes will be up for grabs, with 8 races slated for the day’s event.
The race meet is being held in honour of President David Granger and it’s organised and promoted by the Rising Sun Turf Club.
