[Graphic Content] An armed bandit was shot dead on Friday afternoon as he and another man were attempting to rob a businessman outside a gas station in Mc Doom on the East Bank of Demerara.
Update to the Warlock Shooting
Dawn Sampson, aunt of the dead clothes vendor, Andrew Fraser who was murdered in Warlock has now revealed that it was her son, Timothy St. Hill who was the intended target of the gunmen.
Fraser was executed in front of a food shop in East Ruimveldt just after 8:00 last night, in a clear case of mistaken identity.
The woman says the police had arrested and questioned her son in relation to the rental of the house in John Street Campbellville where the arms and ammunition were found.
Clothes vendor gunned down in Warlock, another injured
America street clothes vendor shot dead in drive-by shooting in Warlock, East Ruimveldt .
He was identified as Andrew Fraser, while the injured man’s name was given as Junior Abrahams. According to persons in the area four men in a white car drove up exited the vehicle and discharged several rounds at the victim, calmly boarded the vehicle and drove away.
Police commander Clifton Hicken confirmed that Fraser was killed and other injured. He said his ranks are investigating.
There are reports that the dead man is a relative of one of the three men remanded in that Campbellville guns and ammunition discovery.
