Six persons have died in a three-vehicle smash-up on the West Coast Berbice Public Road, a senior Region Five police officer has confirmed.

The horrific accident occurred at Ross Village around 04:30 hrs today and involved an Xtrail vehicle bearing registration number PNN 3526 and two motor cars, PYY 4293 and PWW 208.     One of the victims has been identified as Sophia resident, Gary Blair, who according to reports is the owner of the Xtrail.
